Personal data protection policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026. This policy takes effect on that date and applies to this website.

1. Data controller

SYG Performance S.A.S., a Colombian company registered under tax ID (NIT) 901.257.372-7, with registered offices at Calle 129 # 48-71, Caldas, Antioquia, Colombia.

Requests, enquiries and complaints about personal data are handled by our Administrative Department, at info@syg.com.co.

2. What we collect

We collect only what you give us, and only the minimum we need in order to reply.

When you complete the contact brief: your name, your email address, your company name (optional), a description of what you need (optional), the type of project and the stage it is at, and the language you are browsing in.

Technical data attached to that submission: the page you wrote from, campaign parameters (UTM) if you arrived from an ad or a tracking link, and your browser identifier (user agent).

Your IP address is not stored. We keep only a one-way encrypted value derived from it, combined with a secret key, which we use to block automated submissions. That value cannot be used to reconstruct your IP address or to identify you.

If you write to us on WhatsApp or by email: whatever you choose to include in your message.

We do not collect sensitive data as defined by article 5 of Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 — racial or ethnic origin, political views, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union or social organisation membership, health data, sex life or biometric data. Please do not include any of it in the free-text field.

3. What we use it for

We use your data solely to:

We do not sell, rent or transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that produce legal effects concerning you.

4. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your prior, express and informed consent, which you give by ticking the consent box before submitting the brief, in accordance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 and other applicable Colombian regulations. That consent is recorded together with the date and time you gave it.

You may withdraw it at any time, through the procedure in section 8.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site installs no analytics or advertising cookies until you accept them in the notice shown when you arrive. If you do not accept, browsing works exactly the same and no measurement tool is loaded.

If you do accept, we may use third-party tools to understand in aggregate how the site is used — among them Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, Meta and LinkedIn. Those tools set their own cookies and may collect browsing data under their own privacy policies.

You can change your decision at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings; the next time you visit, we will ask again.

To run this site and to reply to you we rely on suppliers acting as data processors, contractually bound to use the data only to provide us their service:

7. International transfers

As stated above, some of our suppliers are located outside Colombia, mainly in the United States. By authorising the processing of your data you also authorise its international transfer to those suppliers, for the purposes described in this policy and in accordance with article 26 of Law 1581 of 2012. We require each of them to meet security and confidentiality standards equivalent to our own.

8. Your rights and how to exercise them

As the data subject you have the right to:

To exercise them, write to info@syg.com.co from the same email address you contacted us with, stating which right you wish to exercise. If you write from a different address we may ask for additional details to confirm you are the data subject, and we will use them for that purpose only.

Response times, as set by law: enquiries are answered within ten (10) working days, extendable by five (5) more; complaints within fifteen (15) working days, extendable by eight (8) more. If we need an extension we will tell you before the original deadline expires, and explain why.

Withdrawal of consent or deletion of data does not apply where a legal or contractual duty to retain it exists.

9. How long we keep it

We keep the data from your request for twelve (12) months from the date we receive it. After that, if no commercial relationship has begun, we irreversibly anonymise it: the request is no longer linked to an identifiable person and only the statistical record remains.

If a commercial relationship does begin, the data is kept for its duration and for as long as applicable legal, accounting and tax obligations require.

You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

10. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit via HTTPS across the whole site, access restricted to staff who need it, event logs that contain no personal data, backups, and storage of your IP address in one-way encrypted form only. No system is infallible, but we handle your data to the same security standard we apply in the systems we build for our clients.

11. Minors

This site is aimed at companies and professionals, not at minors, and we do not knowingly collect data from children or adolescents. If we find that we have received a minor's data without their legal guardian's consent, we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our processes or the applicable regulations change. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its last-updated date at the top. If a change materially affects the purpose of processing, we will notify you at the email address you provided.
